The InfoVision Awards have for many years  been established as the most prestigious recognition of excellence in the  Broadband marketplace.

For the first time in 2010, the Awards will be  presented at a fabulous gala dinner evening ceremony aboard  the Bateau Diamant while cruising down the Seine.  To be held in Paris on 26th October 2010, the  opening night of the Broadband World Forum this fantastic  networking event provides a great opportunity for client entertainment and team  building whilst increasing exposure for Award winners.

The Broadband InfoVision Awards continue to recognise the outstanding technologies developed for broadband  services, but we are also expanding the Awards to reflect the full Broadband  ecosystem. A number of new categories have been added to recognise excellence  in Broadband services, and to promote the activities of operators and content  providers in the Broadband market place. The Awards are judged by an  independent panel of senior industry executives and experts. Details  of the judging panel will be announced shortly.

Awards Categories for 2010:

• Category 1 - Best New Service
• Category 2 - Broadband Access Network Technologies and Services
• Category 3 - Broadband Network and Services Management and Operations
• Category 4 - Content, Entertainment, Applications and Services
• Category 5 - Broadband Home: Appliances, Devices, Home Networks & Services
• Category 6 - Enabling Silicon and Component-Level Technologies
• Category 7 - Core & Metro Network Innovation and Advances
• Category 8 - Green Broadband Awards
• Category 9 - Broadband Innovation of the Year
• Category 10 - Changing Lives Awards
